With Every Heartbeat Book Tour: Review + Giveaway! @lindakage

Welcome to my post for the With Every Heartbeat book tour! I have a review coming up, as well a giveaway for a $25 gift card. But, first, allow me to introduce the book:

With Every Heartbeat (Forbidden Men, #4)
Release date: March 2, 2015
Genre: New Adult Contemporary Romance
Series: Forbidden Men #4

*New Adult Romance*
**Explicit Scenes and Language**

I used to think everything was black and white, truth or lie, easy or hard, that if I could just escape my strict, overbearing, abusive father, my life would be perfect. But since I’ve found a reason to risk his wrath and leave, to help a friend in need, I’ve come to realize everything I thought I knew is wrong.

Friends have their own agenda, honesty comes with a dosage of lie, easy doesn’t even exist, keeping secrets sucks, and love...love is the most painful thing of all.

Maybe if Quinn Hamilton hadn’t asked me to skip classes for the day and help him pick out an engagement ring for my best friend, I wouldn’t have fallen for him so completely on that sunny Tuesdayafternoon and I wouldn’t feel so conflicted. But I did, and I can’t take it back, no matter how hard I try. So I have to deal with the fact that even I’m not as good, or honest, or caring as I’d always thought I was, and no matter what I do next, someone’s going to get hurt. Probably me.

-Zoey Blakeland

*Don't worry! The hero and heroine are not cheaters.*

My Rating: 5 Roses

I have yet to read a Linda Kage book that I didn't love and this book was no exception. With Every Heartbeat was a top notch, absolutely brilliant read. With its wonderful characters, heart-wrenching emotions, and super sweet romance, this book was perfection and I LOVED it.

Zoey was a delight. Kind, caring, and a purely good person, she was certainly likable. But, she was also strong when it mattered the most, be it getting away from her abusive father or standing up for herself. I really liked her.

Quinn...
Excuse me if I gush a little, but this guy was beyond perfect. Absolutely sweet, unfailingly kind, and adorable in a shy sort of way. He was a gem and a totally swoon-worthy hero. I adored him.

The romance was lovely. I'm sure many of you will be happy to hear that infidelity was simply not in the nature of our hero and heroine. They were too nice for that. But that didn't stop them from slowly falling for each other. They were just perfect together and they had some steamy chemistry has well. They were a lovely couple.

The plot moved quickly and kept me hooked right from the start. The emotions were so well portrayed and really made me feel for the characters. And it's always nice to see the couples from the previous Forbidden Men books live their happy endings. The story was wonderful and the ending was perfect.

With Every Heartbeat was a truly amazing new adult romance. It was sweet, emotional, and a fantastic story. Romance lovers, this book is a must read.
