My Rating: 4 Roses

A very sweet historical romance holiday novella, Once Upon a Christmas Kiss was a lovely read that I quite enjoyed.

Both characters were likable. Winifred was independent and and overall lovely heroine. Her reservations about marrying Lucien were frustrating but understandable, so they didn't bother me too much Lucien was super sweet and simply adorable. He was determined to convince Winifred to marry him and protect her from the person threatening her. I liked them both.

The romance was great. Winifred and Lucien were very sweet together, even with Winifred's reluctance. I thought they were a lovely couple.

The plot was quick and I was kept interested all the way through. The mystery of who was threatening Winifred had me curious and I never suspected who it turned out to be. I enjoyed the story and the ending was lovely.

Once Upon a Christmas Kiss was a lovely holiday romance novella and I liked it. Romance lovers, if you want a quick, light, and sweet read, then this is a book you'll want to check out.
