An unexpected affair leads to mind-blowing harmony in this Sea Breeze novel from New York Times bestselling author Abbi Glines.

Jason is sick of living in his rock star brother’s shadow. So when he ships off to Sea Breeze, Alabama, he’s looking for a much deserved escape and a chance to blow off some envious steam. Falling for the local bad girl was definitely not the plan. But as the new duo enjoys some naughty fun in the Alabama sun, Jason learns that even though Jax is the musician in the family, he’s not the only brother who can rock someone’s world.

My Rating: 4 Roses

A sweet, engaging romance, Misbehaving was a wonderful read. I really liked this book. It was a fun read that still had depth and I really enjoyed it. Lovely!

Jess was a wonderful heroine. In this book, we see beneath her reputation as the bad girl. She was kinder, smarter, stronger, and tougher than most people gave her credit for. She was intensely loyal to her mom and would do anything for her. Since everyone treated her as nothing more than a stripper's daughter, that's what she acted like at first. But, when someone started to look beyond, she became a very likable character. I thought she was great.

Jason...He was so adorable, yet I wanted to whack him upside the head for being so obtuse. He was very sweet and, even when he was convinced that it was only a fling, he insisted on being a total gentleman to Jess. But, it was so frustrating how he just couldn't admit that he wanted more with Jess and that ended up hurting the poor girl more than once. It almost got to the point that, when a possible rival was introduced (who was very sweet and accepted Jess as she was) I almost wanted her to pick the other guy. He finally saw the light near the end of the book and did his best to make up for his mistakes. It wasn't enough to ake me adore him, but I did end up liking him.

The romance was okay. Since somebody was insistent on not calling it a relationship, it was frustrating at times. But, when they both allowed themselves to admit their feelings for each other (at least to themselves), they were very sweet together. The chemistry between them was super hot and there was certainly a ton of steaminess with them. Overall, I thought they were a lovely couple.

The plot was well paced and I was kept interested the entire way through. I really enjoyed the story and the ending was wonderful.

Misbehaving was a lovely New Adult romance. I really enjoyed reading this wonderful book. Romance lovers, this is a book worth checking out.
