Genre: Historical (Regency)/Erotic Romance

The Countess of Palmerton has lived her life by Society rules, marrying the right man, bearing the required heir and guarding her name at all costs. And what has it gotten her? A loveless union, a cold marriage bed and a reputation for perfect propriety.

Fleeing the whispers of her husband’s scandalous demise, Olivia finds a haven at Idyllwild. Away from the gossip and glitter of London, she dares to cast a wicked wish to the winter sky.

Be careful what you wish for.

Jack Bentley has a wish of his own, one he has no intention of leaving to the fickle fates. He will marry the stubborn widow, even if it means using her awakening passion to force her to the altar.

A Romantica® historical erotic romance from Ellora’s Cave

My Rating: 4.5 Roses

A very hot and super sweet romance, Widow's Wicked Wish was a wonderful historical/erotic romance. I really liked this book and I really enjoyed reading it.

Olivia was a lovely heroine. She was strong, determined to live her own life after a terrible marriage, and fiercely loyal to her children. However, I did get a little annoyed with her near the end, when she somehow got into her head that Jack wanted a perfect wife, rather than the actual woman and was very stubborn about believing in it. She did get over it, though, so it was only a small annoyance. Overall, I liked her.

Jack was wonderful. He was very sweet and a genuinely kind man. He might not have been born a gentleman, but he was definitely honorable and rather adorable. I thought he was perfect.

The romance was both sweet and very hot. Olivia and Jack were great together. I thought it was very sweet how they both had feelings each other from their youth and they were finally able to act on them. And the steaminess was definitely off the charts. Tons of chemistry guaranteed to make you fan your face. I thought they were a perfect couple.

The plot was fast paced and I was hooked the entire way through. I really enjoyed the story and the ending was lovely.

Widow's Wicked Wish was a fantastic historical/erotic romance. It was sweet, hot, and an enjoyable read. Romance lovers, this is a book you'll want to read.
