Welcome to my post for the Escape in You book tour! I have a review coming up, as well as a giveaway for a $100 gift card. But, first, allow me to introduce the book:

Escape In You
Release date: October 13, 2013
Genre: New Adult Contemporary Romance

This new adult contemporary romance contains mature themes and is recommended for ages 18+

This is a complete story with no cliffhanger!

Jet Taylor is the quintessential bad boy. A womanizer. A fighter. Dangerous. The type of guy most girls do their best to avoid. But Zoe Janes is no saint herself. In fact, she sees in Jet the perfect opportunity to distract herself from her responsibilities at home and the mistakes that keep her trapped there. He’s gorgeous, likes to party, and is clearly only interested in having fun—just like Zoe.

The more time they spend together, the harder it is for Zoe to stick to her “fun only” mantra. Jet is getting under her skin, making her believe things could actually be different. She knows they’re both trapped by the sins of their past but Jet is starting to make her think freedom might actually be possible.

And that makes him the most dangerous boy of all.

My Rating: 3 Roses

A deep, emotional New Adult romance, Escape in You was a lovely read. I didn't love this book, but I did like it. It was a wonderful romance.

Both main characters were good. Both Zoe and Jet were strong and very loyal to their loved ones. Zoe was not to type to take crap from anyone and she very strong willed. Jet was sweet and the type of person that felt deeply. I had an issue with each of them, though. Zoe was much too prone to wallow in self pity. Sure, she had a lot of challenges to deal with, but the mark of a strong person is not to complain about them constantly. Jet had a very frustrating habit of blaming himself for everything, things that there was no way he was to blame for. At first, it was a reasonable part of his character, with all that happened with his mom. But after a while, it was frustrating. Seriously, man? You are not an all powerful person that controls every bad thing that has ever happened. But, despite these issues, I still ended up liking both of them.

The romance was good. There was definitely a lot of deep emotion portrayed between them, one that I felt as a reader, which I liked. Also, I really liked how they both helped each other heal and move on from all that happened to them. And, the chemistry between them was hot from the moment they met.

The plot was okay. I wasn't hooked, but I was kept interested. I enjoyed the story and I thought the ending was lovely.

Escape in You was a lovely New Adult romance. It wasn't amazing, but it was an enjoyable read. Romance lovers, this is a book you might want to check out.
