Welcome to my post for the Love Show book tour! I have a review coming up, as well as a giveaway for copies of Love Show, a $50 gift card, and a link to win an iPad mini. But, before we get to all that, allow me to introduce the book:

Love Show
Release date: January 1, 2014
Genre: New Adult Contemporary Romance

Hadley Arrington is the career-driven editor-in-chief of her university’s prestigious newspaper. Jack Diamond is a laidback student whose good looks have made things even easier than they need to be. She’s the girl who came out of nowhere and kissed him in the rain. He’s the boy who made her do something crazy.

When the stakes seem too high, they have to decide if they’ll let their love show or if they’ll walk away for good.

My Rating: 4 Roses

Deep, emotional, and romantic, Love Show was a fantastic New Adult read. This one is definitely a tear-jerker. I really liked this book. It was a wonderful romance.

Hadley was a good heroine. She was very determined and driven and I liked that about her. However, she was the weak point of the book for me. I didn't like her very much, for two reasons. One, I understood her determination to follow her dreams, but she was too stubborn about it. She saw her parents' reluctance to let her go the the war-torn Middle East as a reporter (a notoriously dangerous job) as them trying to hold her back, and it got even worse when Jack showed that he wasn't crazy about the idea either. She never considered (or perhaps didn't understand) the obvious: they were worried about her getting hurt. So, she could have been more understanding about it. Two, I didn't like how she was so determined to not label her relationship with Jack as just that: a relationship. She was so averse to it, that she frequently hurt Jack. And since Jack was nothing but sweet, that bothered me. I don't want this to sound like I outright disliked her.I just didn't particularly like her. Overall, though, I was okay with her.

Jack, on the other hand, was amazing. He was so sweet and utterly adorable. I loved how determined he was to make Hadley happy, even if it didn't necessarily make him happy. I just adored him. He was perfect.

The romance was lovely. Even with Hadley's reluctance to admit to a relationship, their feelings for each other were clear. I thought it was so sweet how they slowly came to fall in love, despite all the obstacles. And, the chemistry between them was hot.

The plot was fast paced and I was hooked the entire way through. This book was very emotional and it's guaranteed to tug at your heartstrings. I thought the emotions were brilliantly portrayed in a way that really made me empathize with the characters. I really enjoyed this story and the ending was a perfect wrap up.

Love Show was a fantastic New Adult read. Very emotional and romantic, it's a book that will draw you in. Romance lovers, this book is one you'll want to check out.
