Welcome to my post for the Knowing Jack book tour! I have a review coming up, as well as a giveaway for a $50 gift card and e-copies of Knowing Jack. But, before we get to all that, allow me to introduce the book:

Knowing Jack
Release date: January 17, 2014
Genre: New Adult Contemporary Romance

I am not a slut, although I’ve been called one often enough. Yeah, I spent three months screwing one of my college professors, but I was crazy about the guy. Then he broke up with me.

I am not a bitch, although people like to say I am. I kept our relationship secret. I’m not responsible for telling the university administrators about it, but a lot of students still blame me for getting their favorite professor fired.

I am not a drama queen, although everyone thinks I am now. When I got a few nasty messages, I just deleted them. When I got the threat, I assumed it was someone being stupid. I still think that’s all it was. My parents worry, though, so they hired me a bodyguard. Now Jack follows me around, intimidating everyone who approaches me and looking obnoxiously hot.

This is what I am. I’m Chloe. I’m a twenty-year-old art history major. Kind of shy, although I pretend not to be. Stubborn enough to stay here for my senior year, even though everyone hates me.

And I’m stuck with Jack.

He calls me “Princess,” but I’m not a princess either.

My Rating: 3 Roses

Knowing Jack was a lovely New Adult romance. I really enjoyed reading this book.

Chloe was a good heroine. She refused to back down to other people's judgement and was determined to live for herself. She didn't start off that way though. There were a few points in the book that I got frustrated with her people pleasing and her stubbornness about the wrong things. But, she grew over the course of the book and I ended up liking her.

Jack was also great. A mistake from a past job cost his charge her life and that haunted him, making him determined to keep an emotional distance in order to protect Chloe as best he could. That was rather frustrating for the progression of the romance, but I understood why he acted in the way he did. He was very sweet when he wanted to be and very devoted to protecting Chloe. I thought he was wonderful.

The romance was lovely. Once they both let go of their hesitation, they were sweet together. And, the chemistry between them was HOT. There were tons of sparks flying and plenty of steaminess.

The plot was well paced and I was kept interested the entire way through. I was definitely surprised at who the culprit behind the threats was. It was the last person I suspected. I enjoyed the story and the ending was great. Though I wonder if there's more to the story, after what we find out at the end. We'll see...

Knowing Jack was a lovely New Adult romance. I really enjoyed reading this book, though I did have a few issues with it. Romance lovers, this is a book worth checking out.
