My Rating: 4 Roses

A sweet, fun New Adult romance, For Real was a lovely read. I really liked this book. It was tons of fun to read and truly enjoyable.

Shannon was a fun heroine, if a little oblivious. She was kind of a pushover in the beginning, but she found her backbone and learned to stand up for herself. Her narration made the book so fun. She had a strange and hilarious way of looking at things. I thought she was great.

Jett was also wonderful. He was super sweet and a total gentleman. He had a bad past, but I wish that had been expanded upon more. It felt like that past was just there to add a bit of tension and it didn't feel fleshed out. But, that wasn't a big problem. Jett was absolutely adorable. I thought he was perfect.

The  romance was sweet. Shannon and Jett were adorable together. They both had the same brand of weirdness that made them fun. There was only a bit of spice, though they attraction between them was always there. They were a lovely couple.

The plot was well paced. I was kept interested the entire way through. I really enjoyed the story and the ending was so sweet.

For Real was a wonderful New Adult romance. It was so much fun to read and very sweet. Lovers of New Adult romance, this is a book worth checking out.

I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review

  1. Love the fake relationship trope so this is my kind of read.
