Welcome to my post for the Price of a Kiss book tour! I have a review of this fantastic book coming up, as well as a giveaway for a signed copy, e-copies, and a $20 gift card. But, before we get to all the fun, allow me to introduce the book:

Price of a Kiss
Release date: August 15, 2013
Publisher: Self
Genre: New Adult Contemporary Romance
Series: N/A

I don’t care what my cousin says; I am not the queen of impossible relationships. I mean, just because my last boyfriend tried to kill me and left a bit of a scar on my neck, then forced me to move across the country and legally change my name to Reese Randall to escape him, does not mean—

Oh, who am I kidding? For a freshman in college, I have to have the worst dating track record ever.

It’s no wonder love is the last thing on my mind when Mason Lowe enters my life. But the chemistry between us is like bam! Our connection defies logic. And he’s just so freaking hot. Being around him makes me feel more alive than I’ve ever felt before. I even like bickering with him. He could be my soul mate...except for one teeny tiny glitch.

He's a gigolo.

Boy, do I know how to pick them.

My Rating: 5/5 Roses

What can I say about this book? To say that I adored it would be an understatement. Price of a Kiss was a fantastic, amazing, brilliant, magnificent, totally awesome read! I LOVED THIS BOOK! It was so funny and heartwarming and heartbreaking and sweet and just perfect. Without a doubt, one of my new favorite New Adult romances.

Reese was a fabulous heroine. Her voice as she narrated was so hilarious. I literally laughed out loud several times because she just made things so entertaining. And she was a strong character. She had to be to not only have the strength of will to break it off with her psycho, abusive ex, but also to survive what he did to her. And, I have to appreciate a heroine who is a fellow Harry Potter nerd. Especially if she forces her man to read Harry Potter and makes a Potternerd out of him. Because that's totally something I would do. That was a billion points in her favor by itself. She was very likable and easy to relate to. She's the kind of heroine that you can see yourself being friends with because she's just so likable. I thought she was just lovely and I really liked her.

Mason...*sigh*...just the thought of him makes me want to swoon. He's SO sweet! Ooh, I just loved him. I was worried how I would react to his character. You know, given his choice of profession. But, the author did a great job showing why he fell into being a gigolo. I thought it was a great idea to have the prologue show how he was first caught into that rather demeaning job. It immediately canceled out any reservations I might have had about him because he wasn't in it for the sex. He didn't even want to be in it. However, he's intensely loyal and protective over his mother and sister. And if taking care of them meant ripping his soul to pieces every time he was paid to have sex, then so be it. How could I hold his job against him when he did it for the sake of his family? There are very few characters that I've reacted to emotionally as much as I did with Mason. He was a sympathetic character. I felt so bad for him because it tore him apart to have to degrade himself the way he did. And, he was such a sweetheart. So completely and utterly adorable. Everything from his gift for saying the most swoon-worthy things to his penchant for being a food vacuum was amazing. I absolutely loved him. I don't think it's possible to read this book and not love him.

The romance was off the charts sweet. Reese and Mason were adorable together. There was a lot of longing between them because, though they both knew they wanted to be together, their circumstances weren't going to allow it. And the chemistry between them was HOT. Even when they were holding each other at arms length. When they finally got together, the sparks were flying everywhere. I just loved them together. They were a brilliant couple.

The plot was fast paced and I was riveted the entire way through. The story was absolutely amazing and the ending was perfect. I loved every single part of this book.

Price of a Kiss was a top notch New Adult romance. I loved literally everything about it. The only complaint I can think of was that it had to end. This was just the kind of book that you don't want to stop reading. It was total perfection. New Adult lovers, you HAVE to read this book. Seriously, go on and get it now because, otherwise, you're missing out on an magnificent read.

I just had to share this one quote. It shows how sweet and adorable Mason could be. Beware. It just might make you swoon.

"You're the warm sun that shines when everything else is dark," he went on, lifting his hands to rest them on the wall on either side of my face. "A smile and a hug in a roomful of disapproval. You're..."
Wincing, he pressed his forehead against mine. "You're everything."
