For Everly Book Tour: Review + Giveaway!

Welcome to my post for the For Everly book tour, organized by AToMR Tours! I have a review coming up, as well as an awesome giveaway including print copies, e-copies, and a $25 gift card. But, before we get to all that, allow me to introduce the book:

For Everly
Release date: May 27, 2013
Publisher: Iambe Books, LLC
Genre: New Adult Contemporary Romance
Series: N/A

Determined to overcome a dark and tragic past, college student Everly Wallace is only months away from earning her degree in physical therapy. She’s consumed with school, caring for her ailing grandfather, and figuring out how to pay the next bill. The last thing she wants is a relationship, but it just might be the one thing she needs.

Major League pitcher Cole Parker hasn’t fought for anything in his life. He went from a privileged upbringing to a multimillion dollar All-Star career. But when his pitching shoulder starts to give him trouble at only twenty-four years old, he faces the possibility of his injury becoming public knowledge and costing him everything.

In a desperate bid to save his career, Cole decides to hire someone to treat his injury, someone who will keep things off the record and out of the media. He finds the perfect solution in Everly. As mysterious as she is beautiful, she provides an enticing distraction from his pain. Soon, physical therapy is the last thing on his mind.

When an act of betrayal brings the truths they both fear to light, Cole will have to fight for the first time in his life…not just for his career, but for Everly’s love.

My Rating: 5 Roses

Sweet, steamy, and a wonderful New Adult read. For Everly was a fantastic romance. There were secrets, surprises, betrayals, and, of course, hot romance. I loved every bit of it!

Everly was a lovely heroine. Her lot in life hasn't been the best, but she still stays strong. Her tendency to want to run away was annoying on occasion, but that's the only compliant I could think of about her. Otherwise, I thought she was a likable character. She was wonderful.

Cole was also amazing. He was so sweet and I just adored him. I really appreciated that when something happened that seemed like a betrayal, he didn't just fly off the handle, like most characters would. He trusted Everly implicitly, even if there was evidence against her. That was just a refreshing change and it made me like him all the more. He was great.

The romance was both sweet and spicy. Everly and Cole were adorable together. I really liked how they trusted each other so completely. And, without a doubt, their chemistry was off the charts. They had some serious sparks flying between them.

The plot was fast paced and I was hooked the entire way through. There were secrets and surprises. The truth of Everly's past took me by surprise. And I never suspected the culprit of all the craziness that was going on. It wasn't until about 2 pages before the reveal that the suspicions started creeping up. I really enjoyed the story and the ending was lovely.

For Everly was a lovely New Adult romance. It had secrets, surprises, betrayals, and sweet and steamy romance. I really enjoyed reading this book. NA lovers, this is a book you'll want to check out.

*I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review
