Off Course Tour Banner
Welcome to my post for the Off Course book tour, organized by AToMR Tours! I have a review of this fantastic book coming up, as well as a giveaway for a $50 Amazon gift card. But, before I get to all that, allow me to introduce the book:

Off Course (Off Series, #4)
Release date: August 4, 2013
Publisher: Big Dog Books
Genre: New Adult Contemporary Romance
Series: Off Series #4

Renner Caldwell has her life perfectly mapped out. She has the ideal relationship, the perfect job and all is right in her world. When a shameful turn of events happens, she boards the first plane bound for Ireland to lick her wounds and get her head back on straight.

Cillian O’Braidagh is the sexy, front man to the Irish rock band, Over The Edge. His rising fame and sultry voice make him every woman’s fantasy come true. Not to mention his single-minded determination. To put it simply: what Cillian wants, Cillian always gets. And he wants Renner, because there’s just something about the flame-haired beauty he has to possess.

If their relationship was just about sex and rock n’ roll, it would be easy for them to get lost in their desires. Only their relationship is anything but a hook-up. Will lies, deceit and hidden tragedy get in the way, making the path to true love uncertain? Or will the girl whose been knocked Off Course, find her footing with the man who is teaching her it’s okay to lose control?

My Rating: 5 Roses

I LOVE this series! Every previous book in it has been amazing and this book doesn't disappoint. Off Course was a brilliant New Adult read, full of hot romance, a crazy ex, and surprising secrets. It was wonderful and I loved it.

Renner was a great heroine. She was strong and not the type to let others run all over her. Even an incredibly sexy rock star. She was a lovely character, completely likable. I liked that she knew when to give in and when to draw the line. If there was one thing I could change about her, I would just have wanted her to tell Cillian the truth about Maeve because he deserved to know the truth of that coming from her considering what happened when she kept it to herself. But, otherwise, I thought she was wonderful and I really liked her.

Cillian. Was. So. Hot. Oh, my goodness, there are just no words to describe how sinfully attractive this man was! He was every girl's rock star dream times ten. With an Irish accent. I mean, how could he possibly be irresistible? I'll tell you how. By being so completely sweet. He was an alpha male, but not in a way that's overbearing. In a way that makes him even more attractive. And that allowed him to be so sweet when he wanted to be. His past with his parents isn't pretty and he is still haunted by it. Unfortunately, he also lets it affect his decisions. Though, honestly, considering how bad his past is, I can't blame him. That's a lot to have to get over. I thought he was perfect, incredibly attractive, and so sweet. In other words, I adored him.

The romance was definitely hot. If there is one thing that this author excels at, it's writing a perfect relationship that's both sweet and steamy.  Their feelings for each other grew steadily and I could feel the depth of them as I was reading. And the sparks between these two? Off the charts. I thought they were a lovely couple.

I have to mention Maeve because this antagonist was completely hate-able. Maeve is Cillian's band mate and they had a fling a year earlier. And once it was over, this girl turned into the psycho ex from hell. I totally blame her for the break that happened between Renner and Cillian at one point in the book because she was the one manipulating Cillian, who was honestly just trying to do the right thing. She lies, manipulates, and has no qualms about playing dirty to get what she wants. And, honestly, she was a really well written character because managed to kind of pity her, even while I was fervently hoping for her demise. She's definitely the kind of antagonist that you love to hate.

The plot was fast paced and I was hooked the entire way through. There were surprises, secrets, and I riveted to the story. The ending was perfect, wrapping up Renner and Cillian's story while leading the way into Flynn's story. Can't wait to read Off Chance! It's bound to be amazing.

Off Course was a brilliant New Adult read. I loved every bit of it! Lovers of NA romance, you definitely need to read this book because it's just wonderful.
