The Lady Most Willing: A Novel in Three Parts by Julia Quinn, Eloisa James, Connie Brockaway + Featured Freebie

The Lady Most Willing...: A Novel in Three Parts

During their annual Christmas pilgrimage to Scotland to visit their aged uncle in his decrepit castle, the Comte de Rocheforte and his cousin, Earl of Oakley, are presented with unique gifts: their uncle has raided an English lord's Christmas party and kidnapped four lovely would-be brides for his heirs to choose from ...as well as one very angry duke, Lord Bretton. As snow isolates the castle, and as hours grow into days, the most honourable intentions give away to temptations as surprising as they are irresistible.

My Rating: 5/5

Three of the greatest authors in historical romance team up to write this absolutely fantastic book. The Lady Most Willing was adorable, a brilliant novel of three stories.

I don't want to give away the couples, that's for you to find out :)
So, I'll have to keep this vague to retain the mystery ;)

All the characters were wonderful. The ladies were all lovely heroines that are thoroughly likable. They were strong, kind, and flawed in a way that made them easy to relate to. Wonderful, all three.

And what about the fourth lady, you ask?

The fourth lady is Marilla. She was a trial that added a touch of conflict. Throughout most of the story she was the antagonist and the authors did a very good job of making me want to hit her. But, she got slightly-very slightly-better toward the end and got her own happiness.

The gentleman were all charming and lovable. Each was so sweet and gentlemanly and just wonderful heroes. When they fell, they fell hard and, wow, were they endearing when they went after the lady they wanted. It just had me smiling :) See? Still smiling.
I absolutely adored each one of them.

Uncle Taran was hilarious. He added such a humorous element to the story. I loved him. He was so fun. Slightly crazy, but fun.

The stories were all well written and well paced. The separate endings and overall ending were all sweet, the perfect romance ending.

The Lady Most Willing is a magnificent romance. To any romance lover, you have to read this.
