Welcome to my post for the Mia's Heart Review Tour! This book is spectacular. But before I start raving about the book and get to the giveaway, here's the book info...
My name is Mia Giannis.
I am seventeen years old.
I live in Valese, Caberra. This has become my mantra and my lifeline, having recently lost my memory due to a scary natural disaster.
Yeah. I have amnesia. Messed up, right?
You don't know the half of it.
Not remembering anything has turned my world upside down. My parents try their hardest to “remind” me of who I was, but it doesn't feel right. Or, if what they're saying is true and that really was me, I'm not sure I like that person very much.
And then there’s my love life. Apparently, Gavin Ariastasis is my oldest and best friend in the world. Also, apparently, we’ve never dated. But now, noticing him for what feels like the first time, he’s making my heart do somersaults. He knows me inside and out—the real me. Plus, he’s sexy and charming as hell. Sounds perfect, right?
But then... there’s the new guy. Quinn McKeyen – tall, gorgeous and deliciously American. His mischievous grin and slow Midwestern drawl turn my insides to mush in two seconds flat making me question who I really am and what I really want.
Seriously. What am I supposed to do with all that?! I feel torn between them, but I barely even know who I am, let alone what I want.
I just hope my indecisive heart will clue me in. And sooner rather than later…before I lose what little of my mind that I have left.

Now for my thoughts:
My rating: 5/5
Wonderful! As good as the first. Courtney Cole is officially one of my favorite authors.
I loved Mia's character from the first book, so I was totally excited when I found out that she would be the heroine in book 2. I Mia didn't disappoint.
I thought it might bother me that Mia loses her memory, but it was well done. She retained what was best about her, but the memory loss allowed her character to evolve. Mia remains our feisty girl, but she loosens up and grows throughout her trial. And I really liked seeing that.
Another part that I was pleasantly surprised about was the love triangle. I thought it would annoy me, but it made sense for Mia to be torn between who she's attracted to (Quinn) and the who feels familiar and comfortable (Gavin). I'm sure you know that she ends up with Quinn, if you see the cover, so there was never any doubt how the issue would be resolved but the love triangle was done in a way that it added another element to the book.
I adored both boys. Both were so sweet, and lovable, and, of course, amazingly good-looking.
Quinn was the boy-next-door kind of love interest. He was so endearing and had both me and Mia wrapped around his thumb. I thought that he and Mia were a delightful couple and I was so happy for them when they got their happy ending.
Gavin, as in book 1, was so charming. He was the more sophisticating, debonair, suave, charmer. He was sweet, as well, and I felt so sad when he ended up the one who was hurt in the conclusion of the love triangle. I'm hoping that the next book is about him because I really want him to end up happy.
For those who are wondering, Reece and Dante do make an appearance in this book. It was nice seeing them again and seeing how much their love had grown. It was so sweet. I just love that couple. It was interesting to see them from the perspective of another person. In book 1, of course, we see their relationship through the eyes of uncertainty and insecurity. But, in this book, we see how everyone else sees them: a gorgeous, perfect couple-"like Barbie and Ken" in Mia's words.
The plot of this book, like the last, was well paced. The story picks up immediately and doesn't slow down. The ending was just as perfect as book 1's.
For those who loved Dante's Girl, Mia's Heart is just as excellent!

About the author:
Courtney Cole is a novelist who would eat mythology for breakfast if she could.
She has a degree in Business, but has since discovered that corporate America is not nearly as fun to live in as fictional worlds.
Every Last Kiss is her debut novel and she followed it with the rest of The Bloodstone Saga (Every Last Kiss, Fated, With My Last Breath and My Tattered Bonds).
Courtney lives in quiet suburbia, close to Lake Michigan, with her real-life Prince Charming, her ornery kids (there is a small chance that they get their orneriness from their mother) and a small domestic zoo.
