Merry Christmas, Mrs. Robinson by Delilah Marvelle
Lady Jane left her father, the Earl of Chadwick, and the ton behind to experience life on the stage. After a disastrous marriage, the widow is living on the edge of poverty, determined to guard her heart, when a secret admirer from her past demands a second chance.
Shy and retiring Martin Nicholas Pierce, the Sixth Duke of Somerset, has carried a torch for Lady Jane since her youth, but he is five years her junior. When she married another man, he left for Europe, determined to put her out of his mind. After returning to find Lady Jane free, he vows to replace the memories of her cursed Twelfth Night with a new beginning. The Twelve Days of Seduction By Màire Claremont
Alexander Hunt, Eighth Duke of Berresford, is aware his ward's governess isn’t quite what she seems. Although Miss Flint is beautiful and intelligent, she misrepresented herself to gain employment, and he threatens to give her the sack mere days before Christmas.
Desperate to convince the sexy duke not to tear her from the little girl she's grown to adore, Adriana challenges him to seduce her before the Twelve Days of Christmas have come to an end, although she fears it may cost her heart. Alexander accepts the challenge, unconcerned that he has as much to lose, if not more, than the delectable Miss Flint.
My Rating: 5/5
A cute Christmas historical romance. Both novellas in All I Want for Christmas is a Duke were adorable!
Both heroines were a delight. Lady Jane has had to live in poverty because of a mistake for 8 years and that has made her strong. She's disillusioned with love, but, when the right man comes along, she knows to take the chance.
Adriana has had a terrible past, as well, and come through it strong. She's determined and not afraid to fight for what she wants and believes in. Both women were wonderful leads.
The heroes were just as wonderful. Martin was a sweetheart. Oh my god, will he melt your heart. Shy as a boy, he's done his best to overcome his father's demeaning influence. Though, he grew and overcame, he was still a sweet darling of a man that will claim your heart with ease.
Alexander was just as lovely, though in a different way. Where Martin was shy and uncertain, Alexander was confident and commanding. But he was still just as sweet and lovable, especially when he came to the defense of Adriana and his ward. Both men were amazing.
The relationship between the couples had a lot of depth.
Jane and Martin were friends from their youth, best friends, in fact. Jane was 5 years older than Martin, but Martin still loved her, even from that early on. Of course, Jane's marriage to who she though was her secret admirer pulled them apart. But, with both of them available again, things are bound to get interesting. Those two were so sweet together. And they definitely had some chemistry between them that led to some spice.
Adriana and Alexander has the hotter relationship. Since they met, they were attracted to each other, but it wasn't until the challenge that they acted on it. Though their relationship seemed to be based on lust, they were in love and were very sweet together.
Both couples were adorable.
Both plots were interesting with perfect happy endings.
All I Want for Christmas is a Duke was a delightful holiday romance. Andy romance lovers will adore this anthology.

Today, I have a regency romance that I've read before and really enjoyed: His Majesty, the Prince of Toads by Delle Jacobs. Go forth and get it for free!
Sometimes it takes more than a kiss to change a toad into a handsome prince.
When Captain Lucas Deverall returns from the Peninsular War to succeed to his deceased brother's title, he grudgingly decides to take back his wife. But even before he learns the circumstances of his inheritance, he encounters her at a New Year's gala. Shock sets in as he realizes the most beautiful woman in England is the same gangly, calf-eyed chit who tricked him into marriage six years before.
That's not how Sophie remembers it. She wishes fervently she'd had the sense not to scream when the drunken scapegrace crawled into her bed at her Uncle Harry's house party. True, she'd had a secret tendre for the handsome wastrel, until his scathing denunciation of her after their forced wedding. Then he went off to war without even consummating their union, and for six years she heard nothing from him.
Now the toad offers her forgiveness in exchange for his presence in her bed? Revenge comes more to mind.
And so the battle of wits begins. And the harder they fight it, the more they fall in love.
